Rio De Rastro

Ride into the undulating, breathtaking mountains of Southern Brazil!  We will ride part of the Ironman course on the Island of Santa Catarina, home of the Ironman South American Championships.  We will ascend to ride through the chiseled mountains of the Serra Geral, including the Serra do Rio do Rastro, voted one of the most beautiful roads in the world.  Rides will range from 40 to 100 kilometers (25 – 62 miles) per day.  In the mountains, we will stay at the Pousada Morro Grande, a 5th generation working ranch and be immersed in the warm, colorful Gaucho culture.
